Safety Specialist

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and communicative Safety Specialist to join our growing USA trucking team. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to ensuring compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Location: Work from an office in Kavadarci, Shtip or Remote.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 11 pm, with a 1 hour break.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring driver compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations;
  • Reviewing and maintaining driver qualification files and safety records;
  • Conducting safety audits and ensuring all company documentation remains compliant;
  • Investigating accidents, incidents, and safety violations, and preparing reports;
  • Coordinating driver safety training, coaching, and corrective action plans;
  • Communicating with drivers regarding safety concerns, inspections, and violations;
  • Assisting with DOT audits and regulatory inspections;
  • Tracking and managing CSA scores and safety performance metrics;
  • Working closely with dispatch, maintenance, and management teams to improve overall fleet safety.

Requirements:

  • Good English communication skills;
  • Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and transportation safety regulations;
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively;
  • Experience with ELD systems and safety/compliance software;
  • Previous experience in trucking safety, compliance, or fleet management of minimum 2 years.
